Seasons Holidays

Seasons Holidays

In 2001 we were looking for some thing to put our saving into that was not time share we found Seasons Holidays we arranged to the site in late august 2001 meet the rep the very first thing my wife said to him was this is not time share is it he said no its not and explained what it was which made great sense when he explained it so we spent the rest of the day there signed up to one red week with the option of adding weeks in future. Also when we die it would all pass to our children so we went ahead and purchased one red week for £6500 which gave us a free weeks holiday in island also the option to have long week ends and four day breaks at any resort in the world providing they had joined the scheme as well. To us this could not have been better we had worked hard all our lives and now we would reap the reward. So off we went to island for a week in knocktoffer abbey this was a old abbey they had brought and converted into holiday accommodation. When we arrive the manager of the place said right what type of holiday do you like and we said looking at old ruins after all I do live with one and I thought right this will teach you what will happen if you miss behave. He said well you will be castled out by the end of the week which we where it truly is a wonderful place as long as you don’t ask directions we booked the trip for late September the weather was glorious the abbey was fine and the whole thing went well the next trip we took with Seasons we went to Spain for a fortnight once again it was very special we purchased another week while there the following year we went to alpenus in Portugal this was another wonderful fortnight we decided to go home and buy another week so it could be split between the three children equally we paid for the third week when we arrive in Spain and I asked Julie if she could get us a flight to New Zealand which she did and having been told I would never work again we decided to see a bit of the world so come late march we left for new Zealand arrive at trangi lodge about three days later this was a town ship that had been built about 30 miles from Torpa we spent the next six weeks there after taking a batch this is how they refer to the places they live in like wooden bungalows on short stilts we had not been told it was the middle of winter when we went so we decided to travel 650 km to a place called Katire which was sub tropical right at the top of the north island right at the end of ninety mile beach this was the type of beach you could drive on if you wished to a place called Regina point where there was a light house and you could see where the Tasman sea met the pacific ocean meet you could see a different where they meet you could actually see where they meet well that all for now we came back after finding out that we should have told the government before leaving England if I wanted to still get my pension so we came back and went to Spain and took a flat in a place called Calahonda we took a luxury flat over looking the med about 75 km from Gibraltar just signed the lease and then my pension stopped so we had to come back and when we arrived I thought right we banked three weeks while in Spain I would find out if we could use them but the person at seasons said yes if you pay us £3475 to complete maintenance fees for 2007/2008 and a fine for £1197.00 and would not remove it so I asked for my money back and she put me on to head office a man called David Clarke said well if you don’t like it you can do what you like so hear it is do you worse so I think that sixty days holiday is a bit out of order for £350.00 pre day so as no one else has to suffer keep well away if you don’t want to be ripped off leave them alone
