pickfords removals

in march 2005 we left england for spain and then on to new zealand so we used pickfords to stoor all our posetions well we found out to our cost not a good idia because when we asked for our furtinature to be sent it took about three week to arive and when it did the guy driving the lorry side i had to repack some of it for you my first thought was not the chandler but yes he had repacked it he had forced it into a small box could not get it in so decided to take it apart well he had rinined it when the rest of the furniture was brought in my wifes anteque sowing box had been runined itb looked as though some on had sat on it. we found out some time later that they had also lossed a couple of containers damage caused in excess of £8000 payment £1000 and the atitud was take it or leave it we saw a layer in spain and he said put it down to experanmce. when we left Spain to come home after a year we used another company called Union Jack Removals who pack every thing seperatly and no damage caused so if you are thinking of going abroard dont use Pickfords removals
